Recall, I swapped from a camera with 1/60 x-sync to one with 1/250 x-sync
(not FP) because the faster x-sync was vital to what & how I was then
shooting. Also, my medium format camera system is leaf shutter because I
need the facility for x-sync with faster shutter speeds than med format
focal plane systems offer. That said, I have NEVER wished for x-sync faster
than the 1/250 my 35mm system provides and have never felt the need or
wished for the chance to employ FP flash so I could shoot with flash at
faster shutter speeds.

EOS-1V? I think your Bronica system with flash sync up to 1/500 has spoiled
you Henry.
