i totally agree with you, as a photographer you have to know what your real
needs are, instead of what they really want to sell to you. some of today's
fancy features in bodies and lenses are helpful to photography, while some
others are just gimmicks behind marketing hypes trying to reach deeper into
our pockets... i don't think those camera/lens makers give a damn about our
photography, all in their mind is just to attract customers and sell more
and make more bucks to make their own life better...
maybe one day they'll add GPS into all their lenses, and tell you without
it some photographers already disappeared in the jungles... i bet many will
feel they 'really' need that feature immediately ;)
am i being too cynical here?;o)
