I assume that this is when displaying 1/2 stop increments. F4.5 is a 3rd
stop. A one stop increase when displaying 1/3 stop increments would acually
be f6.3 and f9 for 2X.
This is the only anoying problem I have with the EOS system. Canon has
several displayed apeture readings that dont match with the calculated
amount. For example my EOS 3 displays 4.5 as 1/3 stop from f4, and 4.5 as
1/2 stop from f4. The 1/2 stop really should be f4.8.
