Thanks for the information Lars, Tom, and Tony. I will have to think carefully as I use mainly zoom lenses and note your comments on zoom + extension. I had hoped for more postive comments on the tubes so will consider if it might be better to leave them and see if a cheap 2nd hand macro lens comes up at a later date. Regards, Tim
