I guess I've watched too many action movies where the guy (usually a police officer) gets into a lot of trouble just days before retirement. Be careful of car chases and bank robbers! EOS content: I'm not so much interested in a digital back for my EOS 3 (I think the market is too small for it to be of interest to Canon); but I do wish they would update the focusing abilities of the D-30. Right now it has the focusing ability of a $300 camera. Giving it the guts of at least the 7e would make it worth $2000 (for $3000, I would expect EOS-3 level, sorry).
