Guys,
I've seen the thread about the Older flashes not working with the
digital camera's. My question is will the "older" flashes work if one had a
EX flash on body and using Canon's dedicated cords and accessories have the
other flashes attached? And also didnt the uh was it EOS 2000 digital body
use the older flashes?

And they were at best A-TTL...

And I don't get the point that since the digital cameras don't have any film
there is no surface to take a "off the film" reading from... From what I've
seen from the D1 and D1X N***Ns that the company I work for uses the sensor
is probably a better surface to take a reading from, besides the fact that
its very reflective. But the surface is constant as opposed to different
film types... then again i could be wrong... are all film surfaces the same
as in have same reflectivity?

Then again am I confused. Shouldn't the bodies revert to some "normal" TTL
flash mode to work with older flashes...

Then again Canon makes money by having us buy new EQ all the time... which
in turn funds their research into new cool stuff... hmmmmmm
Its a near never ending cycle isn't it.

Well there goes my christmas bonus if i have to upgrade to EX flashes.
:(
