Why? Take your good gear shoot it and don't worry about it. The worst thing you can do to camera gear is to put it in a closet or in a bag where it is humid and warm...guaranteed to grow fungus that way. But taking into humid areas and shooting the cameras will not ruin them. How do you think those of us who live in humid areas ever make photos?
Don't go tromping about in the rain with out protection, but as for the humidity on a trip to the tropics, I personally would not worry too much about it. Heck I'd take both my EOS and my Leica gear on a trip like that. What are the odds you'll be going back soon? Why waste those possible photo opportunities to a point and shoot? You spent all that money on a good EOS camera...use it!! -- Harrison McClary Harrison McClary Photography http://www.mcclary.net [EMAIL PROTECTED] Once upon a time Geoff Chandler wrote: >Yes that's what I thought .... may end up just taking a point and shoot * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
