Hi all, First of all... HAPPY NEW YEAR (well, almost ;-)
To join the club, my 28-135IS isn't working correctly neither. IS seems not to work. It's very extrange because I can hear the mechanism working/stoping when I engage/dissengage the shutter button, but there's no corrective movement in the viewfinder. I tried by setting it on the longest focal length, engaging IS and shaking the camera a little bit, focused on some crosslines. Result: NOTHING. Before, the effect on such a case was pretty strong and obvious. This will be the 4th time my lens will visit the Canon repair facilities.
