OK, I may be missing something here, but I just got my EF25 tube in the mail, and it seems to be disabling the aperture display on my Elan 7. No matter what mode I put it in. In Av mode, however, the exposure compensation dial does change the shutter speed, so it seems like *some* information is being used somewhere, but all I get either in the viewfinder or on the LCD is "00." I've tried it on all my lenses, and with some of them it even seems to freeze the camera. Once it didn't freeze until I moved the EC dial. Sounds like I've got a lemon, right? Anything I should check?
