Agreed, a couple more of the non-gross errors:

* AE lock is not lost with CF-4. AEL is achieved by holding the shutter
button halfway down (as if using the focus-lock in standard modes)

* Higher end cameras (1v, 3, D30, 1D) now use the N3 remote terminal, which
is considerably better than the T3 terminal. The N3 is better for pros
since it won't yank out easily like a little phono jack and is considerably
better in withstanding dust and dirt immigration into the body.

* You should say "Manual metering mode has a [LED] match-needle scale"
as match needle implies an actual needle (OK, that's being picky)

* "The six-second timeout on the exposure settings. .... All EOS cameras
seem to do this, yet Canon hasn’t put in a simple custom function to let
users extend this time if they want."

This is wrong. The EOS 1v and D1 allow customizable time-outs via a
personal function.

In general, an OK review, but more gripes by a non-owner than anything
else. If Canon could produce an EOS-3 class or 1v class machine for the
price of an EOS 7, then I'm sure we'd all be happy. But that's about as
likely as a BMW costing the price of a Hyundai. Eventually, most of us
figure that's just how the world is.
