�but I hoped my 50mm f/1.8 Mk2 would last longer. It fell apart after it hit
my car�s door. I bought it last summer and was so happy with it. I know I
can�t demand 80$ lens to be very durable, but Canon could�ve made it better
built. It really wasn�t a hard hit, you can tell it by dent on the lens cap
(it is hardly notisable). Whole front element (one that moves back and
forward) fall off. Oh, that was painful. But I don�t blame lens, I blame
Canon, they could�ve made it a bit stronger.
Now I plan to buy a new one (still), and my ski boots must wait till next
winter :)
