Hola Felix,
Well, With a FD-EOS adapter you can do absolutely the same. You preserve all
metering functionality of your body (E-TTL inclusive) but have to care about
closing the diafragma before shooting.
If you have one exotic FD lens (such as the 400mm lens) , this can be a very
good option. Then again, the compatibility story is just that...
