Hi,

I had the same idea, and bought the IX Lite, liked its size, feel and 
weight, and sold it (on eBay) after one summer of wondering if my pictures 
were sharp.

Was it the Advantix film or the lenses (22-55 and 55-200) - I don't know.

I then got the EOS 7e with the 28-135 (and 20/2.8 and 100-400 lenses) and I 
never wonder if my pictures are sharp.
