In the old days i had a camera with only a 55mm 1.8 and a zoom 70-150 3.5
No flash and i shooted 400asa film.
After a while you get used to a limited setup. and i did take some nice pictures
on trips and holidays. because i knew it's limitations and it became an extra
eye (so to speak)
I would say : make a daytrip with a simple setup and i.e. the 28-135IS with
flash. After a day of shooting some film you get a bit familiar with you
equipment and you know it's limitations. Then try to figure out for your self
which gap you want fill mostly on your type of fotografie.
Advizes on equipment from others aren't the best for you. Only you can figure
out whats best for your situation.
