I saw portrait prints made from a D60 printed 36"x54" at the PMA show.  They
looked great. I'm sure at 60 dpi the detail was not there, but looking at
the prints at 3-5 feet away, they looked great.

I got my 1D in February and have not used film since.

For action, the 1D is definitely the way to go.  For exposures over 30
seconds, the D60 is the clear winner.  See the comparison on Fred Miranda's
