I have a question about the EF1.4X II extender and the EOS A2. First
though, there has been a price drop from Canon on this extender. When my
shop called me last night to say it was in they told me as of September 8,
2002 it went from $329.99 to $279.99 US. $50.00 bucks off works for
me! Thought you might not know about it.

Anyway, the destructions say that the camera will compensate for exposure
automatically. Then theres a special note for the A2 that just sez "set
-1/2-stop exposure compensation with the EF1.4X II or -1 stop with the EF2X
II". My question is I'm I opening up that 1/2 stop "after" the camera
meter gives me a reading? What about compensation when using a incident
meter, just open that 1/2 stop again after I meter the scene?

Thanks in advance for the help.
