This probably got asked before but I didn't own this camera so I didn't pay attention.
I seem to consistantly get images on my EOS-1D that are about 1-1.5 stops too dark. I can correct this with the exposure conpensation feature or brighten the images in software but why is this happening with such an expensive camera? It doesn't seem to matter what lens I am using or if I am using my 420EX flash. The body is a recent vintage, SN 157xx, with V1.3 firmware. Anyone else have this problem or know how to handle it?
