I used to just hang my baseball cap over the body when taking shots "off eye". With the 1n I use the eyepiece shutter. The behaviour can hardly be considered strange once you think about the question. For "normal" photography the effect is small unless you are backlit (direct sunlight entering the viewfinder). For macro work the effect can be HUGE. Light entering the viewfinder (and contributing to the TTL reading) is constant. Light through the lens is restrictted by tubes, bellows, magnification etc etc. > As for the 2/3 stop exposure error, unless yours is a > pretty old 3 I doubt it. Any evaluative system will end up looking for small differences in brightness and interpreting them as it chooses on the day. * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
