I have seen D30 prints done professionally to 20x24 and they are tack sharp.
Since the D60 has twice the resolution
It has 1.41x the resolution. The D60 has nearly twice the resolution of the S100 'Digital Elph'.

Actually, that's not fair :-). The S100 due to lens and sensor limitations doesn't do that well in comparison.

Seeing is believing, and I have seen what I am saying first hand.
A good friend of mine uses Nikon D1X cameras for weddings (he used
to use a D30). Shots about 900 pics per wedding (hey no film, no cost in
thrown away images), prints them through a service and 30x40s look great!
