Luminous Landscape was an early proponent of the superiority of digital over
film, going to great lengths to tweak digital images to get them up to film
standards, while posting scans of prints without tweaking to diminish their
quality.  I don't take much they/he have to say too seriously, anymore.  It
used to be, back in the day of the D2000, it was only 35mm film that digital
had an quality advantage over, now it is MF, too.  Hmmm...
That is not to say that the 1Ds isn't a great camera, and that it's results
shouldn't equal most 35mm results, I just take what LL has to say with a
grain, or more, of salt.
