I have it and use it with 2 550EX with good results. If you are outdoors unless there are walls or a fence surrounding you to bounce the triggering light to get to the master (or ST-E2) it will not always work. You need to rotate the flashes to ensure the master & slave lights will see each other. Typically I place the 550EXs to the side and forward of the ST-E2 mounted on my camera. I also use the Off Camera Shoe Cord to move the ST-E2 up above the camera and a back a bit to help that. Indoors since there are walls around you the master & slave trigger 99% of the time.
