While I haven't made a real comparison (like a shoot-out) it is my
experience that MF gives me more accurate focusing. When I use AF once in a
while I often find myself correcting it a tiny little bit. But all this is
done with the camera mounted on a tripod. If you shoot action pictures where
focus has to be dynamicaly adjusted you are probably better off with using
AF, well at leat I would be much better of using AF.
