Well, do you really need 1Ds? Isn't a film body enough, you can then scan slides and 
get even better files than using 1Ds. The worst thing to do is take a new camera for 
an important shooting and then, at the critical moment, fail to use it. Just rent a 
familiar film body (I suppose you have shot with EOS before) and that's it.
