I've used many of the EOS bodies over the years. I just recently sold
my EOS-3 since I've been using my D30 almost all the time. I have tried
a number of film/scanning combinations and generally have not been
satisfied with them, so I am not enamored of that option, though I may
do it. I believe the 1Ds would give me the results I want, and between
my D30 and 1v experience, I don't anticipate trouble using it.
So while I don't agree with your analysis, thank you for responding.
