-----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of K. Michael Rose JD,
How would you compare the Pro-RL with the Custom Bracket, for example? They seem to have similar features and after the mounting plates, seem to be priced rather close to each other? Thanks, Michael ____________________ Since I don't own a Custom Bracket, I can only compare from their on-line site (http://www.custombrackets.com/35mm%20Format/Index.html). I'd say from looking at their web site, that the Stroboframe Pro-RL offers greater height and one-handed adjustability of that height and an easier more reliable one-handed way to adjust the angle of the flash that I don't see on the Custom Brackets site. Also, the Pro-RL will work with medium format camera as you mentioned you may want to get into--I see different models for the Custom Brackets. They are both very similar, but I think the ease of adjustability of the Pro-RL and it's compatibility with both medium format and 35mm makes it a better choice.
