Sorry to complicate the issue. Stranger things have happened. For some
reason a bunch of messages have got stuck on one thread base. Now
most, but not all of those carried the same subject line but you
changed that. For some reason your message was hanging on another
message thread. It seems for some people the easiest way to post a
'new' message is by replying to any message they happen to be at, not
quoting it, but changing to a new subject line and typing in their new
message.

I'm going to leave it at this: it is best to begin a new subject and
thread by actually posting a 'new' message, and not by replying to
one. I hope that is clear enough.

Now back to your camera bracket question - I have seen quite simple
brackets good for vertical shooting, but you have to put your flash on
camera for horizontals. Then there are various complicated swinging
arms and rotating frames. I've always wanted something a bit simpler,
lighter, and yes, cheaper than what I've seen on the market. I might
use a simple strobe frame if I was primarily doing verticals, perhaps
even use another body for horizontals. This is a tough thing to order
in. It's going to depend on what you want it for, and what cameras you
want to use on it. Your best bet of course, short of someone here
actually knowing what model will work for you, is to take your cameras
to a shop and try them on a few models.

You are obviously going to need a big bracket to use with the booster,
and for that matter with a MF camera. Depending on the height and
model of top prism, and size of side grip, you should be able to use
some MF cameras with some 35mm flash frames.

I have not seen every type of strobeframe on the market, but I have
looked over some rather expensive and complicated ones that I just
don't think are practical - for me.

Hope someone can give you a model number. Try looking through B&H's
website and get your model number there.
