Here's an example of a lens I just bought: EF100-400 IS lens in US: $1299.00 EF100-400 IS lens in Canada $2999.00 (US$2023.00) plus 15 percent tax EF100-400 IS lens in Japan 189,999 yen (US$1581.00) plus 5 percent tax I can't figure this stuff out either. The lens is made just up the road from Tokyo where I live. I ordered one from the States and saved big even with shipping and 5 percent Japanese tax. I haven't priced the 10D here in Japan yet, but I will bet money it's way more than US$1500.00. I'll just have to order one from the States. * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
