Hi Guys, I use an EW-83DII hood designed for the 24 f1.4L lens. It's a lot more compact (diameter), but is a lot deeper and does a much better job when used with a 10D. It fits both the 16-35L and 17-40L. I believe it also fits the 20-35 usm and 17-35L lenses as well. It also stores reversed on the lens and takes up a *lot* less room in any camera bag!
