Have you guys used www.mail2web.com ?  It's web based e-mail site that does
the same as described above and I have been using this for a couple of
years now to remotely access my personal e-mail all around the world as
long as I can get on the internet, this even works for my work e-mail.

If you are paronoid you can always selcted the secure setting on the main
page.

Hope this helps save some time.

I guess I should also be thankful my ISP must be doing good e-mail
filtering as I have not received one single spam or virus since I switched
to them a year ago, the funny part is 2 weeks ago they sent notification
that they are updating their spam filter software, except I got this
notificaiton 4 consecutive times all with the same time stamp, ironicly
becoming spam itself....
