Well, the simple answer is I plan to use it as the main storage and
transport for one camera, four lenses and a flash. A two pound bag would
bring the toal weight to about 15 lbs., which is more than I would want to
carry on a long hike, but not unreasonable for more normal travel, as in
planes, trains and automobiles or even a leisurely walk. I like the LowePro
Omni briefcase bag that can convert to a pack, but I would like to find
something that stores the larger lenses vertically so as not to put a lot of
pressure on the reversed hoods.

Thanks to the poster who noted that B&H still lists the Tamrac 5448. It's
too bad they don't have a diagram/picture of the interior.
