I am thinking of getting a prime lens to take travel, and walk around pictures. I have a prime 85mm and I love it for portraits.
I was thinking of a 50mm, but with the 1.6x cropping factor it would be too long. Does anyone have experience with the 24mm 2.8, 28mm (1.8 or 2.8), and 35mm 2.0 from Canon on a 300D? Or would I be better off with the 17-40L or even a Tamron 28-75 DI? Thanks for your opinions.
