Hi Hugo,

The 420EX has no menus. You simply slide a switch to set HSS. You can even
set your camera body for 2nd curtain sync (CF6=1 on my Elan 7E).

Now simply set your shutter speed, and the camera flips automatically between
HSS and 2nd curtain sync.
