Nope, I certainly didn't mean to imply that 2nd curtain sync works wirelessly, I apologize if somehow it came across that way. I was only using the 2nd curtain sync with the flash mounted directly on the camera or the off camera cord, never with the ST-E2, the airplane landing overhead is way too far for the ST-E2 signal to bounce back to the main flash anyway, I would be better off using a radio slave instead.
