Remember, these are not separate hard drives. These are Creative Nomad MuVo2 4gb portable MP3 players with the HD inside. The HD is not available for removal under normal operation. You would have to open up the box (and void the warranty) and remove the HD. I haven't seen the inside of one of these yet but there must be a CF socket inside. John
