No problem. A few of my friends took their laptops on several ski vacations
to the french alps (between 2200 and 2700 meters) and they never had any
problem. Also I don't believe it to be a problem to take your laptop into
an airplane, for example. The cabin personal may not allow you to use it,
but that's for a different reason.
