Hi Eric,
I didn't expect the two lenses to be of equal quality, but using my
70-200L �2.8 as a benchmark, I wanted to see how close the 100-400 came. I
regularly use a 70-200L with a x1.4 converter, and occasionally I'll use a
300 or 400 prime lens. I was curious to see if the 100-400 was of usable
quality (i.e. better than the old 35-350 which was a handy length, but just
not sharp enough). Just trying to save my back from carrying excess gear!
