Hi all, reading all this posts about storage devices, I've became a little curious (and interested !!) about them and I've started to look around for one of them. It seems that the bigger drawback is the battery life: 1-2 hours is the average time. Some models (e.g.:X's drive PRO) are also an mp3 player. now, with 2 hours of battery life, it is quite unusefull (as mp3 player), so I think it doesn't worth the extra $s. I'm wondering how much time does it take to do a full copy of (say) an half-gig CF ? (I'm not referring to any particular model, any of you who owns one of this things, please let us know it)
I saw that some models are sold without an hard disk, you can buy it separately, BUT they accept only 9mm x 2.5inchs hard disks. I don't know if this (9mm) is the "normal" dimension of a 2.5inchs HD, but i fear not (I know there are at least two size, but i don't know them).
