Hi all.

Does anyone have experience with Sigma flash units, in particular the EF 500 DG Super? (http://www.sigmaphoto.com/Html/news/500dg_super.htm)

It looks to have essentially all the features of the 550ex (Wireless TTL, FP sync, manual controls) at less than 1/2 the price, or about the same price as a 420ex...

I currently use a 380ex, on a 10D, G2, and EOS 5, but it lacks swivel and has some issues with "M" exposure mode on the G2. In M mode the G2 does not meter the flash, so you must be able to set power manually on the flash, not possible on the 380EX.

On an unrelated note, I did get the EP-EX15 I had been looking for, and I'll try to do some kind of a write-up for it. The short verdict is that it does what it says it does, but it has a number of things I'm not happy with, both optically and mechanically.
