One problem-
It only works wide open on EOS cameras. If you look at the EOS mount you
will see there are no contacts. Limited use.
I own one, it's in a closet I believe. I keep trying to sell it to Nikon
users since it maintains most of its functionality on current Nikons, I
wouldn't try to sell it to an EOS user because of its lack of functionality.

You cannot change the aperture with the ef adapter?  I though it would just
be like on the OM, you snap it down and the farther, the darker you ar
working on (no auto diaphragm)?

Rob,

As the aperture control is on the lens and the diaphragm is linked
mechanically, it would be strange to have no manual stop down.

Bob Atkins has used Tamrons with the EOS adapter.

For the definitive answer why not ask him?
