EOS Anchored down in Anchorage [OT]

I have to spend 1-2 days in Anchorage, Alaska next week. I will not have a 
car. I will be staying (not my choice) at the Clarion Suites Hotel on W. 
8th Ave.
Any ideas for a tourist, given the brevity of my stay? TIA.
