Digital......for one thing digital doesn't have the latitude of film. The 
other thing you can do, is to use the focus/exposure points more effectively 
in the "P" program mode......getting a better exposure. You'll have to play 
with it. The other thing is to get the flash OFF of the camera, using a 
StroboFrame or other.
