Reminds me of reloading ammunition ... you NEVER save money from reloading.
You just get more bangs (pun intended) for your buck.

I've alway wanted to try to rig my Omni-Bounce to work more effectively.

I've always thought it would work much better if the front of the cover were
knocked out and the back and sides were reflective. Since the idea is to get
the light going up to bounce AND forward why block the front of the flash
(this is of course assuming you have it at the recommended 45 degree angle
upwards).

That's just my idea, though.
