Because the price was right on the 10D and I had heard bad things about the D60. I am planning for the future. The sigma lens issue is a minor one. I probably won't own any more Sigma lenses.

Knowing you had a bunch of pre-EOS3 Sigmas, why did you get a 10D and not a D60?

Trade in your 10D for a D60, pocket the approx. $200 difference, and be a lot happier with your Sigmas and Canon DSLR...
