I'm with you on that. I'm not actually sure there is any real logic behind hanging on except there is one big factor that keeps playing on my mind. "The customer is always right" That seems to be forgotten by almost all the modern mega-corps of today, Canon included. The technology exists: the demand exists, the will does not.
