Interesting, they are certainly right about the need for a wider 
macro-lens.  I've been using the EF 50mm f/2.5 Compact Macro and the 
multiplication to 80mm equivalent is very noticeable.  The EF 180mm 
f/3.5 L Macro must become quite a telephoto on the 1.6X cameras.  I 
wonder if this one will be cheaper than the EF 50mm f/2.5?

I've seen the web-site where the EF-S 18-55mm is converted to work on 
non EF-S cameras (and know someone who's done it).  Does anyone know if 
the conversion has been successfully tried on the EF-S 10-22mm lens so 
it can be used on the EOS 10D (and D60 and D30)?
