That's a good read, and I happen to agree with his opinion, even at the
risk of offending some purists....

I've shot 15,000 frames on the 1D Mk II since last July, there are about a
doezen shots I took using RAW setting only because I didn't have bright
enough lighting and wanted to take advantage of the "up to 2-stops"
adjustment capability.

The rest are all shot in large .jpg at 8 setting, I haven't relly tried the
10 (maximum) setting only because I am getting images that I am perfectly
happy with, even printing to 20"x30".

I am sure there are benefits of RAW, color balance is probably the biggest
one, but if I am getting perfectly acceptable images from L .jpg, why would
I shoot RAW?
