EOS why RAW + JPG?

Hello all.  I've used my Elan IIe for many years but just got a 20D a few 
days ago, had my first moment of fascination just yesterday when looking at 
RAW images on my monitor and moving the exposure level and colour 
temperature around!  My question is why ever save with RAW + JPG?  Why not 
always just save RAW?  Assuming I'm not using a PictBridge printer to send 
images directly to a printer, is there any other reason?  Thanks,
