It's a pity you didn't have the good 28-105mm, the faster one. It's not a
24-70, but it's one of those little bargains like the 50mm f/1.8.

You should dig out your 50mm, at f/4 or 5.6 it's still sharper than the L
zoom at any aperture, plus if you're like me, you could use the exercise :-)
