Hello All!
Just bought an EOS-1D Mark IIn and EX580 Flash on Saturday, and I'm
having a blast!!
Having shot EOS 35mm bodies for years, the transition to EOS Digital is
a real thrill.
I seriously considered the 5D, but felt the 1D MkIIn was far more
compelling for my use. To keep this post short I'll post the reasons if
anyone asks.
Surprisingly, the 1D Mk IIn's 1.3 conversion factor has yet to present
much of wide-angle restriction problem with my 20-35 2.8L, which seems to be
doing an excellent job on the new body. However, I am considering selling
it and going with the 16-35 or 17-40.
Thought I'd share my enthusiasm and say hello to any old friends on the
EOS List.
Also welcome any comments, suggestions or threads regarding the new gear
from those who've already made the transition.
