Hi Leeuwtje,

The adapters you gave seen (sold by eBay seller 'Mr Rolfo') are actually
quite good, and I would recommend one despite the price. You won't get
it cheaper than unless you can turn metal and create your own adapter. I
had some custom-made and they cam in more expensive than Mr Rolfo's.
Note that the aperture coupling lever will have to be physically removed
before you can mount the lens onto a Canon EOS camera. You either do
this yourself of pay to have it done (more cost!)...

To be honest, the SMC-M 50mm 1.4 is okay but not perhaps a stellar
performer. Fine if you like old-fashioned manual focus. A moot point I
know, as you already have bought the lens, but a better idea (certainly
cheaper) would be to pick up a screwmount 50mm lens and pick up an EF-
screwmount adapter which are plentiful.

Further, consider a Canon 50mm lens - they are very good optics you know
- and work well on EOS bodies ;-)

I modified a couple of Pentax lenses (A*85mm f/1.4 and K15mm f/3.5) and
this was worth it because these are definitely stellar performers. Details:

Here's an excellent resource for K mount lenses:
